Just so people don’t think I’m oblivious to what’s going on…

Mrs. OC Art Blog has family in Louisiana. Her grandmother and various uncles, etc., live in and around New Orleans and Lafourche Parish (yes, Mrs. OC Art Blog comes from fine Cajun stock…and yes, she makes a mean gumbo). Her Grandmother is alright and had no damage but she still has no electricity (you might have met her grandmother, Noonie, if you ever wandered into a local bayou "novelty" shop with more porn than novelties….she owned it….it was close to the small roadside Church she built….interesting lady)

One of Mrs. OC Art Blog’s cousins lives closest to New Orleans and had to evacuate and was out before the levee broke. She still has not been allowed to go back to her house. She is alright but no word on the house.
