Ran down to Laguna for some business but also had a chance to catch the Ruby Osorio show at LAM and hit some of the local galleries where I saw a real good show by Scott Greene, a painter I wasn’t familiar with, at Sue Greenwood Fine Art.

Ruby Osorio’s work is much better in person. Initially I was kinda skeptical thinking it was going to be another Marcel Dzama/Amy Cutler kinda thing but I left pleasantly surprised and for all you locals out there that are fans of Sandow Birk I think you’ll find something to like in the work of Scott Greene. Plus Sue Greenwood is really nice, buy a painting from her.
