The LAM Collectors Council Visit

The LAM Collectors Council Visit

Hope everybody had a nice weekend and hopefully you found a nice museum or gallery to go stay cool in. This last Saturday Mrs. OC Art Blog and I were paid a visit by the Laguna Art Museum’s Contemporary Collectors Council. It was a lot of fun to give a little tour and talk about all the art that we have collected to date, both the works we really have grown to love as well as the mistakes we have made (or I have made according to Mrs. OC Art Blog). Museum collectors councils are a great way to get access to artist studios, galleries and private collections that you might not otherwise have access to on your own. Highly recommended! Couple of quick photos follow:

    Hi Sarah-
The drawing is by LA Based painter Mark Dutcher. He will be having a show at the Santa Monica Museum in Sept. with Philip Guston and De Chirico. He’s the best.
