Received a notice today from Susanne Vielmetter Los Angeles Projects that they will no longer be sending paper invites. They are going to all e-mail invitations. Is this a more effective/efficient way of connecting to your audience or an attempt do away with a large cost to the gallery? Will other galleries follow suit? Is the art card as we know it doomed. Stay tuned.

    Art Cards…
    Susanne Vielmetter is still printing cards for each show; however, we have limited the number of cards due to our environmental concerns – we print a low quantity set for the front desk and one can take a few home upon a visit to the gallery.
