Hello Peoples-

So Artforum paid a visit to OC. Boring.

Although this comment did stand out:

I sat next to an elderly collector who wore the black pants suit and oversized Italian sunglasses representative of her breed. After bragging about the recent purchases of works by artists whose names I’d never heard before, she offered this insight when asked her thoughts on the biennial: “Let me put it this way, I haven’t seen anything I’d buy.”

Let me help those of you that arent familiar with our local scene here. Our local rich don’t buy art, their interior decorators buy art.

And those artists you’ve never heard of before Mr. Bandini, they keep Laguna Beach afloat.
