Oneleaf There’s another art event this Saturday you all should know about that is taking place in the Pomona Arts Colony. A new space is opening up called OneLeaf Fine Arts and is run by Jena McRoberts.

This Saturday she opens the group show Confrontations. It will run from 6-12pm and I’m sure it will be a blast. Go to the website for all the details. Side note: Yun Bai who was just mentioned in the recent LA Weekly top ten emerging artist list will be in this show.

More disclosure: I will be in a show there next month….more on that later.

    Maureen was in a group exhibition I curated 5 years ago at HBAC (Huntington Beach Art Center). I selected her out of that HUGE open call non-juried exhibition HBAC mounts every year in January. Then, had a studio visit with her in NYC two years ago. So, what I’m saying is…go see her work. Fresh, new, and ultimately fun.
    (the new “Centered on the Centered” open call show opens january 20 at HBAC from 6 to 9 p.m.
