It seems there is a new alternative space to show your work in OC. Continuing the legacy of toilet galleries throughout art history the FH Mens Room Gallery is an alternative/temporary/guerrilla/performance art space located in the mens room of the FH Night Club. Exhibitions will last one night and you need to be 21 to participate. Proposals can be sent to FHmensroomgallery@gmail.com. Added bonus: there will be dancing and live DJ's during the openings. ...

You might want to re-think that curatorial career. It seems now that the hot career in the museum world is the increasingly high profile position of party planner. The LA Times did a piece on MOCA's party planner extraodanaire Vanessa Gonzalez today. And OCMA's resident party girl Ashley Eckenweiler has been getting a lot of attention lately.
