Some of the best shows you'll see this season will be in University affiliated galleries, especially in Orange County. So that means I will try and do a better job...

Received a notice today from Susanne Vielmetter Los Angeles Projects that they will no longer be sending paper invites. They are going to all e-mail invitations. Is this a more effective/efficient way of connecting to your audience or an attempt do away with a large cost to the gallery? Will other galleries follow suit? Is the art card as we know it doomed. Stay tuned. Slow news day...

Friday night his show opens at the Santa Monica Museum of Art and on Saturday night his solo show opens at Solway Jones Gallery. Yes, this is your opportunity to say...

Ran over to Fullerton tonight to see Lucy Xuan Minh's show at 7 Muses. Great show in a great space. They're looking for artists to show so be sure to contact them and get your work hung. They're also holding a fundraiser on Sept. 16th so be sure to inquire how you...
