Congratulations are due for former local artist Christine Nguyen. Christine is the first recipient of the Contemporary Collectors of Orange County's $10,000 fellowship award. Christine was chosen from ten artists selected by James Elaine of the Hammer Museum and Meg Linton from the Ben Maltz Gallery, Otis College. Contemporary Collectors is non-profit organization dedicated to arts advocacy. You can catch Christine's current exhibit at the Hammer until Dec. 31st. ...
