It seems that this one might be a little more organic than the repeated attempts to turn the "east village" into an arts destination. I don't talk about it much here for some reason but Mrs. OC Art Blog and I have been fans of Long Beach's Museum of Latin American Art for some time. One of our favorite artists in our collection Mario Perez was discovered through the museum. I found out recently that their very fine Director Gregorio Luke has resigned after 10 years of service and guiding the museum through its recent expansion.
