The OC Art Blog was created in 2004 as a way to build community and promote the marginalized but dynamic Orange County art scene.

Last Saturday was the annual Tour Des Artistes in downtown Long Beach. Many props go out to Chloe Flores for putting together a great little fine art event. She had to do a lot of work. Nice job. This Saturday from 12pm to 10pm is the annual Tour Des Artistes in the East Village Arts District of Long Beach. This is too great not to report now. On july 1st Grand Central Art Center will be opening Blight at The End of The Funnel works by Ed Colver. This exhibition will feature 20 selected photographs and 15 assemblage works in the main gallery by the long time photographer of the So. Cal punk music scene. Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I've been sliding into the summer schedule. So what does that mean?? Well here's my list of what I'm going to do (or hope to do) this summer vacation: 1. The OC Weekly has a great article about longtime Wedge legend Ron Romanosky's Saturday night slide show at J. Moore Gallery in Seal Beach. Jeff at J. Moore does all my framing and is one cool dude. This Saturday night Pervasion: The Art of Gary Baseman and Tim Biskup opens at the Laguna Art Museum.
