Ran up to Culver City on Saturday to pick up our new Robert Olsen painting from Susanne Vielmetter and catch a couple of quick shows before they came down. Two are highly recommended but they'll probably be taken down by the time you read this. The Cristoph Draeger video/installation at Susanne Vielmetter was haunting and the Chloe Piene drawing show at Sandroni.Rey was solid. Wanted to let everybody know, a little early, about two openings this weekend in our area that should not be missed. First off is the Christine Nguyen opening at Enview Gallery. Went to Riverside this weekend to attend an event and had a great time.
