Posted at 16:26h, 04 FebruaryBright Eyes (backwards haircut) just played Miami last night, and a band opened for them that was wearing trucker hats. I didn’t realize I was witnessing a veritable cusp between two eras.
Bright Eyes was great, even though I looked at Conor Oberst a few times and thought of that Camper Van Beethoven song “Where the Hell is Bill” – “Maybe he went… to get a sideways haircut…”

I’m imagining seeing second hand VonDutch hats on refugees in a third world nation, 10 years from now.
