20 May Around OC
Sorry for the light posting the last couple of days, work has been busy and I made my first final table in a poker tourney (4th place, $1,200 Hooray!). Anyway, Here’s a run down of some recent art stuff in the OC. Keep it safe out there:
This week Rebecca Schoenkopf gives us a tour of some of the OC’s public art hot spots and her take on graffiti.
Liz Goldner at the OC Metro gives us a run down on Aimee Greenberg’s newest performance piece "Dona Sangre". You can still catch the performance tonight and tomorrow night at BC Space.
This is the last weekend to catch The Orange Groove: Orange County’s Rock and Roll History at the Fullerton Museum Center.
Tiki Jay One opens Urban Landscape Specialist this Saturday at Walled City Gallery.
Calling all sound artists! Soundwalk 2005 needs you! Contact them.
Attention collectors of contemporary art! Sunday The Laguna Art Museum will be hosting a panel of collectors in conjunction with their current exhibit Hidden Treasures. It starts at 1pm and is hosted by curator Tyler Stallings.
Last chance to catch art off the wall at the Irvine Fine Arts Center.
Have Fun!!
