Had to go to the Mall today with Mrs. OC Art Blog…fortunately our local mall has a new media satellite called the Orange Lounge which is attached to OCMA. So while she did a little errand running I caught the Yucef Merhi show (think Jenny Holzer with mad hacker skills). I like Jenny Holzer and I like Yucef Merhi. I’m a sucker for poetry….if it’s good.
Also had a chance to pick up a couple of books I’ve been meaning to read, the de kooning and Arbus biographies. Hopefully I’ll find some time.
Off to the opening.
