Kyle Wanted to let everybody know that The Office’s first show of the new season is right around the corner.

On Saturday Sept. 24th we will be presenting Kyle Riedel – A Platform To Stand On

About the exhibit

The office is pleased to present Kyle Riedel’s most recent series of images. Originally placed along the Los Angeles river, A Platform to Stand On references both classic Disney images and roadkill. With the river providing the context for the images, they become strange and beautiful portals mocking an otherwise bleak landscape and illusions that have gone slightly awry.

Also on view will be two seperate videos: Erosion and Sediment, where myths of the west become etched in the landscape and Season Opener, a video where Football grows some balls. Please join us for a reception celebrating the artist on Saturday Sept. 24th from 6-9pm.

The Office – 5122 Bolsa Ave. #110 Huntington Beach, CA 92649 info:714-767-5861

The OC Art Blog was created in 2004 as a way to build community and promote the marginalized but dynamic Orange County art scene.
