Mrs. OCArtBlog has decided it’s time to get some new bedroom furniture (we have none) so this weekend I was required to do my husbandly duty and follow her around various furniture stores. Luckily one of our stops included Crystal Court at South Coast Plaza where OCMA has its new media satellite The Orange Lounge. I was able to view their new show Transfixed: New Media and the Body. The show includes artists like Cheryl Dunn, Tony Oursler and Yoshua Okon.

But what I really found to be the highlight was the Chris Burden Compilation video of various works from the early 70’s with Mr. Burden narrating throughout. It was a little piece of local art history not to be missed. Did anybody recognize a current OC resident/writer that helped him document??
