Ran up to Santa Ana last night w/Ed Giardina to catch the Oral Fixation show. It was great to see that DIY attitude again back in SA. Now that the Lofts are in the 800K range and all the rents have skyrocketed most galleries and artists have left for greener pastures. It was also interesting to take Ed out there. He was one of the early pioneers of the artists village with Edward Giardina Contemporary Art and the original Raid Projects. Their first location was two doors down from the event. Foto’s follow:
