First off I hoped to have some photos from Saturday night openings but I came down with the flu bug that is going around. Not good, sorry about that.

Now on to new biz. Classes are starting up again all over the southland and that means that University Galleries are going to start kicking into gear. Some of the best shows you’ll see this season will be in University affiliated galleries, especially in Orange County. So that means I will try and do a better job of letting you all know about upcoming events at our local colleges.

So that being said, one of our better art institutions Orange Coast College is hosting it’s first event this season and it features artist Lisa Bloomfield and her show titled ONSETS. This exhibit will feature Lisa’s abstract paintings paired with digital prints and can be viewed in the Art Center on the 3rd floor. The show will run through the fall semester.
