Known as one of the founders of California assemblage and an influential figure of the Beat generation, George Herms premieres a new free-jazz opera that features large-scale sculptural instruments, live and recorded video, and featuring the Bobby Bradford Mo'tet, the Theo Saunders group, and the voice of Diana Briscoll.
