In a continuing effort to promote collecting contemporary art to Orange Countians, there will be much discussion on this site about collecting in general.

Soooo….did everybody see that photography did quite well at Sothebys contemporary sale? Highlights included:

New records for Cindy Sherman ($478,400), Mike Kelley ($411,200), Sam Taylor-Wood ($142,400), Louise Lawler ($125,600), Nan Goldin ($105,600), Roni Horn ($96,000), Nobuyoshi Araki ($50,400) and Larry Clark ($42,000).

So what do you think that means for my Araki Polaroids??
