Art Day

Art Day

Saturday was art day. First off I headed up to Chloe Flores’ place to help jury the upcoming Tour De Artistes fine art event. Then Mrs. OC Art Blog and I headed over to MOCA for the Rauschenberg show (must see) and the Lorna Simpson show (very good). We then went to the Hammer for the Societe Anonyme show (inspiring) and after that we headed to Track 16 Gallery in Bergamot to catch the Tyler Stallings curated Alan Sondheim show (cyber chaos). After that we met up with Chloe and Autumn at enView Gallery to catch Aliza Violet’s show (solid young talent) before it ended. We ended the night by catching the Thomas Lee Bakofsky show at {open}. I was beat but all the art was very good and it was a much needed shot in the arm. Plus hanging with Chloe and Autumn is always fun. Some really bad photos follow:
