A couple of other stops we made in NY I forgot to mention that will probably end up on the year end top ten list were the Egon Schiele show at the Neue Galerie and the Van Gogh Drawing show at the Met. Although both shows were really crowded both shows were really good. Just bring your patience. One of the benefits of running an art space is you get to do a lot of studio visits. A couple days ago I ran over to Sherie' Franssen's studio in HB and just fell in love with her new work. I had intentions of doing art stuff this weekend but when it came down to it I just couldn't muster up the energy. However I did have the opportunity to catch the new David Mamet farce Romance at the Mark Taper on Saturday night.
