Ran over to the HB Art Center to pick up my Mark Dutcher painting that was included in his recent show there. While there I got to talk with Travis Collinson and see some new work of his including a portrait he did of Mark. I first picked up a copy of Monocle at the newsstand in South Coast Plaza a few months back and was impressed right away. Miami is over. The reports I've received is the sales were pretty sluggish in and around the many satellite fairs. We're cruising into the Holidays and you can already tell that the art world is about to take a break.
