It seems there is a new alternative space to show your work in OC. Continuing the legacy of toilet galleries throughout art history the FH Mens Room Gallery is an alternative/temporary/guerrilla/performance art space located in the mens room of the FH Night Club. You might want to re-think that curatorial career. It seems now that the hot career in the museum world is the increasingly high profile position of party planner. The LA Times did a piece on MOCA's party planner extraodanaire Vanessa Gonzalez today. And OCMA's resident party girl Ashley Eckenweiler has been getting a lot of attention lately. Thought I'd let you all know about an interesting new site that's geared toward artists. I recently discovered Uber a social platform site geared toward the artistically inclined, primarily bands and visual artists. I also understand this site is the brainchild of 2004 Whitney Biennial artist and LA local Glenn Kaino.
