The OC Art Blog was created in 2004 as a way to build community and promote the marginalized but dynamic Orange County art scene.

Last night was a blast. The show really came together well and the feedback was great. Thank you to those of you that came out and supported the artists. Especially those of you who buy stuff. They like it when that happens. Participated in the Sunset Beach Art Festival this Weekend. All the money raised goes to art education in our local schools and god knows they need it. The weather turned out to be great and the whole event was a lot of fun. It was great seeing a lot of people I haven't seen for awhile while working on my tan. I'm sure you all know that surf art is hot right now. Well this weekend you'll get a chance to see some great surf art, among other fine art, at the 39th Annual Sunset Beach Art Festival. If you are local you know that this festival has a great vibe and is for a good cause. It runs on both Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6pm and will feature plenty of art, music and food.
